ISPO SPORTS TRENDS A/W 20/21
Reduction is for me the most striking trend of this year’s Winter ISPO.
Jackets are very minimalistic, pocket solutions naked and pure without stitching. Quilted models, often made of crinkled nylon, are only fixed by seams at certain points.
The award winning anorak FUTURECRAFT.LOOP by adidas TERREX is made of one material for an easier recycling process instead of using many different fabrics in a complex jacket.
Made of 100% polyester by using omly ocean plastic waste for fabric by Parley and insulation by Primaloft this jacket is Gold winner in the Urban Lifestyle category for Outdoor.

HUES OF GREEN
Mint green is still to be seen, or strong green tones combined with berry colours, coral or orange. There were many olive green and khaki shades to match the trendy utiliy look.

FLEECE MIX
The fleece trend goes on, especially the mix of sherpa fleece with other fabrics as you see here. Striking were entire outfits as jackets and pants made of fleece, plain or with patterns.

HyYPER BRIGHTS
Along all the camouflage and scenery prints I saw motifs like flashing nightlights or blurred inner glow for athleisure but also outerwear.

ABSTRACT GRAPHICS
Tone on tone landscape motifs and geometric prints are still popular, especially for shirts and functional underwear.

PURE
Chinese inspired styles or pocket solutions sharply edged without stitching seams are a big sports trend a/w 20/21.
UTILITY
No doubt, the utility quilted vest with side zippers is a key style. Or seen here as a kind of harness with functional bellows pockets, worn over voluminous quilted coats or winter jackets, also seen at Adidas and SOS Sportswear.
