6 TRENDS AT ISPO MUNICH AW 2018/19 – WHAT`S HOT AND WHAT STAYS HOT?

Feb 25, 2018

ISPO AW 2018/19 in Munich

What`s Hot ?

1.Bold Logos:

Typefaces and logos, placed oversized on the front or as an insert in trousers and jackets, are, in addition to color blocking, one of the most striking ISPO trends. This has already announced in last year in the form of logo tapes as a piping or logo printed front zipper on jackets.

2. Hybrids & Quilted Coats

There was a noticeable number of quilted jackets, sometimes minimalist or oversized. In addition, highly technical windbreaker shapes and futuristic jackets with ribbed stretch inserts and material mix at the corresponding body zones for even more comfort and performance.

3. Dark Urban

For the City Warrior: high collar shapes that half cover the face, as well as armor-inspired quilts, luxurious sweat jackets made from voluminous materials as a supplement for fitness and training or for the city.

What stays hot ?

1. Urban-Camouflage:

Camouflage comes as a photo print combined with neon red or neon yellow, or just as a material in a washed-out look. Or more subtile as background for graphic prints.

2. Bodymapping and Wearables:

New in body mapping are three-dimensional structures, which are supposed to regulate the body temperature even better, e.g. as seen at Bionic. Baselayers show beautiful subtle raster prints or abstract motifs. LEDs in clothing for better visibility have long since arrived in the present.

3. Teddy-Fleece:

For a cozy city look, once modern in combination with quilted functional fabrics or  more rustic as fleece jacket in warm natural tones.
