COLORS & DESIGN WINTER A/W 24/25

In November 2023, the ISPO sports trade fair, the world’s largest trade fair for sporting goods, took place. Although the fair still has fewer exhibitors than before the pandemic, there were some interesting trends to discover. In this article, we’ll explore the vibrant palettes and innovative designs for sports apparel Winter 24/25.

COLORS

Particularly striking in the ski and snowboard sector, alongside bold reds, oranges, and blues, were the many variations of yellow and green tones. Delicate vanilla yellow or matcha green, strong brass tones, or lime greens are combined with neutral gray and beige tones or mauve tones. Pink makes a comeback: seen on both jackets and accessories, as well as in prints.

FABRICS

Lightweight transparent running jackets with equally fine and delicate prints were seen, as well as holographic and graphene fabrics that glow in the dark or protect against UV radiation: like the jacket developed specifically for women by TANBOER, nominated for the ISPO award.

INNOVATION

In the newly established Sustainability Hub zone, there was a special exhibition on the topic of natural resources: Fungicide materials. Here, a wide range of innovative materials made from mushrooms was presented, for bags and even helmets.
