PANTONE COLOUR OF THE YEAR 2019
Pantone has just chosen the color of the year 2019: 16-1546 Living Coral. The vibrant and warm color is described by the Pantone Color Institute as follows:
“In reaction to the onslaught of digital technology and social media increasingly embedding into daily life, we are seeking authentic and immersive experiences that enable connection and intimacy. Sociable and spirited, the engaging nature of PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity. “
The Pantone fashion color 2018 represents modern life and is often represented in social media. Living Coral stands for optimism and playful expression. It´s one of my favourite colors. For some seasons it has been appearing in colour cards for active wear and provides the energy that a sports color card needs.
With my moodboard I want to show a few facets of this color: natural, modern, playful, warm, spiritual and energetic.
What is Pantone?
